Our office has utilized dental lasers since 2003. We have multiple wavelengths used for a variety of different conditions.
Our 810nm diode laser is used on soft tissue to contour, remove or revise tissue often times without anesthesia. There is no need for sutures and there is very little bleeding.
Our 2940nm Er:YAG laser can be used for either hard tissue (tooth/bone) or soft tissue.
Our 660nm red and 808nm infrared lasers are used to assist in healing after dental treatment, reduce gagging and pain control. They are often referred to as low level lasers (LLLT) or soft/cold lasers.
