    Continued social distancing practices

    • Please check in for your appointment by texting or calling from your car and wait outside the office. We will text or call to let you know the team is ready for you. Companions of patients will be asked to wait outside of the office during a patient's appointment. One parent or guardian will be allowed to accompany a minor patient or a senior patient needing assistance.
    • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time, possibly no more than one patient.
    • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

Adherence to sterile healthcare protocols -

    • Hand hygiene: We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
    • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):  We will be equipped with gloves, masks (N95, KN95 and Level 2 and Level 3), face shields, disposable gowns or coveralls, and safety glasses. We recommend you wear a mask when you come to the office and leave the operatory.
    • Respiratory hygiene, sharps safety, safe injection practices (when applicable), sterile instruments and devices will be followed as normal.
    • Cleaning and disinfection of environmental surfaces and common areas will be done frequently. We will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth in waiting room, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
